A blank page can be incredibly exciting. For a child, it can be a world of unlimited possibilities. As adults, we sometimes forget how liberating and freeing it can be to just escape into a world that is so different from ours. For this Seussical, Jojo wants to be anywhere but in the world she is currently in. 

In a wordless prologue, Jojo is overwhelmed by the sound of the world: being overlooked, being the problem, not being seen. So where do we often go when we don't fit into our current situation? We disappear into worlds that we can control. And maybe we can emerge feeling enlightened, with a little more hope.
