ABOUT ANDREW BULLARD

 

Hello! My name is Andrew Bullard, and I am a DFW based Director and Educator. I grew up in the area, went to college at Abilene Christian University, and came back to perform, direct, and teach.

When it comes to projects, I love taking spectacle and fantastical musicals and grounding them in a perspective that feels genuine to the audiences. It is important to me to have the audience's eye always engaged into the images happening on stage, and pulling them deeper into the story. In my approach, having actors create natural movement and believable objectives is crucial to the production's impact.

Likewise, my goal as an educator is not only to have students create authentic performances, but also find the most professional and authentic version of themselves for their respective fields. It is my hope to inspire students to broaden their theatrical knowledge and their repertoire in preparation for professional and collegiate opportunities in classes.
